LUXNAIL ACRYLIC STARTER KIT
1. Start with clean, dry nails. Push back cuticles with a cuticle stick. File the free edge to a round shape.
2.Using a clean fine/medium file, remove all surface shine from nail. Remove dust.
3. It is recommended to spray Nail Prep thoroughly to the nail and surrounding skin. Nail Prep disinfects and dehydrates the nail to prevent mold and fungus.
4. Apply Nail Primer to natural nail. Make sure Primer dries thoroughly before applying Acrylic to the nail.
5. Apply Nail Form under free edge of natural nail. Make sure form fits with the curvature of natural nail.
6. Place the Acrylic Brush in a dappen glass container filled with Acrylic Liquid (Monomer). While pulling the brush out of the liquid dab off just enough liquid so brush is no dripping. Using a light stroking motion run the tip of brush over the top of the powder to form a small med/dry ball on one side of brush. Always start with a dryer consistency. The product should gel when placed on the nail. If the products runs or spreads across the nail, it is too wet. If the ball ball drops off the brush, it is too dry or too powdery and not forming a gel consistency on the nail.
7. Place ball formed on Nail Form close to the free edge of the natural nail. Wipe brush on a clean paper towel. Pat acrylic into place, forming the extension of the nail on the nail form. With a feather touch pull brush down towards the tip of the nail.
8. Repeat #7 on zones 2 and zone3.
9. Apply acrylic to all nails. Nail will set in 3-4 minutes.
10. Remove nail forms.
11. With fine/medium file and white block buffer, file hardened acrylic to a smooth, even surface. Be sure to shape the nails at an angle.
12. Apply Fortifying Oil to the nail and surrounding skin. Rub in. Using a Sanding Block, buff in oil until nail is smooth and shiny.
13. Have client wash hands then apply 1 or 2 coats of 20's Fast Dry High Gloss.
