Are
your personal beauty cares crying out for help?
Here are our tips for your tender loving care . . . . . . . .
1.
Why do people say that mineral oil is bad for our skin?
As we know, mineral
oil is a liquid mixture of hydrocarbons gathered from petroleum
where most ladies do not like to use it since it can cause clogging
pores and irritating to their skin. As for our concern, we believe
that a luminous and vitality skin should go for natural plant
and vegetable oil rather than a heavy use of mineral oils.
2. What makes a smooth, well-groomed hands and nails are nice
to present in an official handshake?
Here are the tips – keep nails no longer than your nail
plate to prevent cracks. Avoid metal files as they damage nails.
File in one direction. For oval-shaped cuticles, a square-cut
works best. For pointy cuticles, go with oval nails. Hangnails
are a result of dry cuticles. Try cuticle oil, cuticle peel, cuticle
remover or cuticle massage cream. Protect your hands from hot
water and detergent by wearing rubber gloves when doing house
work. Apply a moisturizing hand cream twice a day and pamper yourself
for a hand spa treatment twice a month (it can be done in the
beauty salon or home care treatment).
3.
I have a serious breakout and really prone to pimple around my
forehead and chin, what can I do?
Use a thorough cleanser which contains gentle micro beads to penetrate
deep into skin and unclog pores of oil and dirt. Alternatively,
use a purifying clay mask for a big deep down clean to splash
away skin deposits, debris and refine pores. Also beware that
without healthy lifestyle habits and regular workout to improve
circulation and to help distress – since stress is a major
cause of many skin problems, your skin will not see any improvement.
4. I
have heard of dry and dehydrated skin, what is the difference
and how to prevent it? Is hydrating spray works?
Dry skin described as lacking moisture and oil, and is not wet.
Some people imply the surface may still never get wet. Dehydrated
skin was moist at one time but the water has been removed and
now it is dry. Both skin conditions refer to the shortage of water.
Some products may be moisturizing but it doesn’t necessarily
hydrate or moisten skin. Water-based hydrating sprays may give
skin necessary hydration for a short while but evaporates quickly.
In order to prevent skin and dehydrated skin try to drink 8 glasses
of water daily, apply a water-soluble moisturizer at least twice
daily and apply a moisturizing mask 2 to 3 times weekly.
5. How to
have a relaxing and luxurious bath?
This relaxing home spa has a refreshing effect and makes you fit
for the day. Put the herbs in a saucepan, pour water and boil.
Wait another quarter of an hour and strain the infusion. Put the
mixture ( 1 cup dried rosemary, 1/2 cup dried peppermint leaves
and 2 drops lemon oil ) in the water. Rosemary is active in promoting
blood circulation, peppermint eases mental tiredness and anger
and lemon oil lifts your spirits.
6.
Delicate and irritable skin is now as pervasive as the common
cold. What causes a sensitive skin and how to prevent it?
Genes for the main causes, but other factors such as stress and
environmental pollution problem, poor diet and a change of climate
can also cause skin become more susceptible to sensitivity. Better
to know the ingredients when using new skincare products. You
should use item by item, step by step so that the unacceptable
items/ingredients can be identified.
7. There are many scars in my face as a
result from a serious prone to pimple skin, can it be treated
or removed?
Yes. Through a skin therapist, the scars can be removed by Chemical
Peeling, Dermabrasion, Excision and Punch Replacement Graft, Augmentation,
Laser Therapy and Microdermabrasion.
8.
Will pricking and squeezing blemishes aggravate acne?
Yes. When pimples are squeezed, the irritation can cause more
redness, more swelling, more inflammation and the spreading of
bacteria. Scarring may also develop. Pricking or squeezing should
only be performed by a trained professional with the proper instruments.
9. For a fair and flawless skin, is it important to use
SPF products ? Does it mean that the higher the SPF, the better
UV protection for the products?
Our skin fights against harmful UV rays and harsh weather conditions.
All these can lead to a blotchy, uneven skin tone if we are not
care about it. Some people prefer a sun block, and some rather
go for the whitening comes with SPF. Either one is good as long
as the SPF is 15 or higher. I believe that sun protection and
whitening should go hand in hand. The former protects the skin
from UVA and UVB rays to avoid skin tanning deeply; whereas, whitening
products helps to dispersing and eliminating the melanin production.
I do not believe that a higher SPF means a better product; it
only means you will get more protection for a longer period of
time.
10.
Why Vitamin C is important and used extensively in the skincare
product range?
Vitamin C eliminates active oxygen increased by ultraviolet rays
and inhibits pigmentation and inflammation. It plays an important
role to facilitate the production collagen in the dermis. By stimulating
the production of collagen and blood microcirculation, Vitamin
C fights effectively against ageing of the skin and making pores
imperceptible and control skin texture.
